piano teacher, an old friend of Ivo's who worked with him at Banco do Brasil and then went on to be a Stock Exchange operator; Ivo & Ruth.

all of a sudden there was a hustle-and-bustle to prepare the dining-room for the birthday celebrations...

and there he was: Ivo, the birthday man in front of his birthday cake.
