Ivo Darin's 90th birthday on 6 June 2017





all of a sudden there was a hustle-and-bustle to prepare the dining-room for the birthday celebrations...
and there he was: Ivo, the birthday man in front of his birthday cake. 
to be joined soon by his dearly wife Ruth... 
and all their children...

Finados (Day of the Departed) 2nd November 2020

Me (Luiz Amorim) & my sister Rute make a point of visiting Cemitério das Flores (Cemetery of the flowers) at 29,5 km on Raposo Tavares Highway in Cotia-SP to visit our dearest Mother's grave. 2020 was the year of the Covid 19 Pandemic so we and everyone else sported our masks against the Corona Virus.

this beautiful bright yellow Golden Trumpet flower growing at Cemitério das Flores reminds me of aunt Nina Darin (Yolanda's sister), who died on 1st October 1972.
